Who are weOne sunny day in Spring 2007 two mums got to know each other at a SlingMeet gathering in South London. They both carried their sons from birth and were inspired to promote the benefits and advantages of Babywearing to the world.
One mum was a professional tailor, a real wizard of her craft, who left behind the plush ateliers of Saville Row to take care of her newborn. The other mum was a Project Manager, who has coordinated projects ranging from international advertsising campaigns to internal training. Coincidentally, or shall we say fatefully, both mums shared the same name (Maria), and, even spookier, their baby boys were also called the same (Nico)! After having tried many different models and not being completely satisfied, Maria the Tailor has designed and produced her own baby-carrier that exactly met the needs of her and her baby. Now you and your little one can also enjoy our Sleepy Nico carrier. We are certain you willl not want to take it off - it's so comfy and pretty!
